The Opportunity Our client is seeking to appoint two Trustees to join its Board and contribute to the strategic oversight, governance and long-term sustainability of the organisation. Trustees will help ensure the organisation maintains strong governance while supporting innovation, responsible growth and long-term impact. Key Responsibilities• Contribute to the strategic direction and governance of the organisation Support effective oversight of risk, compliance and organisational performanceProvide constructive challenge and independent judgementHelp ensure the organisation operates in line with its charitable objectives and governance responsibilitiesSupport the long-term sustainability and institutional development of the organisationContribute expertise, insight and professional experience to Board discussionsAct as an ambassador for the organisation where appropriate Candidate Profile We are seeking individuals who are: Solutions-oriented and commercially mindedEntrepreneurial in thinking and adaptable in approachStrong communicators with integrity and sound judgementComfortable operating in fast-moving and evolving environmentsCollaborative, thoughtful and strategically mindedMotivated by long-term impact and sustainable philanthropy Essential Experience• Previous Trustee, Board, governance or senior leadership experience preferred Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilityAbility to operate effectively within complex stakeholder environmentsUnderstanding of governance, accountability and organisational oversight Desirable Experience For one Trustee appointment, a background in legal, regulatory or governance matters would be highly desirable. For another Trustee appointment, a background in finance, accounting, investment oversight or financial governance would be highly desirable.
