The role involves conducting routine quality inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods, maintaining quality records and reports, monitoring compliance with GMP, hygiene, and quality procedures, and assisting in the implementation of quality assurance systems. The incumbent will coordinate with production teams to identify and resolve quality related issues, investigate non-conformities, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, the Executive QC will supervise female production staff, ensuring discipline, attendance, hygiene compliance, proper work practices, and adherence to production and quality standards. The position also requires providing guidance and training to female workers on quality requirements, monitoring their performance, ensuring a safe and productive work environment, and maintaining effective communication between the production and quality departments. The Executive QC will perform any other quality control, production monitoring, and supervisory tasks as assigned by the Line Manager or Management Education required: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field is preferred with relevant FMCG experience may also be considered; 13 years of experience in Quality Control, Hygiene Monitoring, or Food Safety in a manufacturing or FMCG environment is required, with practical knowledge of GMP, hygiene standards, and basic documentation and reporting systems. Strong understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards with the ability to ensure employee cleanliness and grooming compliance, enforce PPE usage and GMP requirements, and monitor overall workplace sanitation across production and non-production areas, along with preparing inspection reports, maintaining hygiene records and checklists, and coordinating with HR and administrative departments for corrective actions, awareness, and compliance improvement.
