Role Overview The IT Coordinator will support the organization’s digital infrastructure, ensuring reliable systems for donor management, communications, and program operations. This role reports to the Operations Manager and works closely with fundraising, communications, and program teams to enable smooth technical delivery across the organization. Key Responsibilities Maintain and administer office IT systems, including network, servers, workstations, and backups to ensure secure and reliable availability of services.Support fundraising platforms and donor databases by handling user access, data integrity checks, and routine maintenance tasks.Manage email, collaboration tools, and website content updates; coordinate with external vendors for hosting, SSL, and third-party integrations as needed.Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures, perform regular updates, patch management, and anti-malware scanning to protect organizational data.Provide user support and training for staff on common applications, remote access, file sharing, permissions, and basic troubleshooting.Develop and maintain IT documentation, standard operating procedures, and an inventory of hardware and software assets.Assist with procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management of IT equipment and coordinate warranty or repair services.Participate in disaster recovery planning and execute periodic backup restoration tests to ensure continuity for donor records and program data. The ideal candidate combines hands-on IT skills with an understanding of nonprofit workflows and donor confidentiality. This is an on-site position based in Lahore with occasional coordination required across teams. Candidates should be proactive, communicative, and able to prioritize tasks in a small-team environment. Education required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent diploma with 2+ years of relevant IT support/coordination experience. Certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+, Microsoft 365, or equivalent are advantageous. Proven experience administering Windows and/or Linux workstations and basic server administration.Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi configuration and troubleshooting.Experience with backup solutions, disaster recovery procedures, and data integrity validation.Familiarity with email systems (Exchange/Office 365/Google Workspace) and collaboration platforms.Basic web CMS management and understanding of hosting, DNS records, and SSL certificate renewal.Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices: antivirus, patch management, user account policies, and access controls.Experience supporting CRM or donor management systems, including user roles, data exports, and import procedures.Strong help-desk skills: ticket handling, user training, documentation, and remote support tools.Ability to manage IT asset inventories, vendor relationships, and procurement processes.Good communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work within nonprofit compliance and data-protection expectations.
